is it safe? totally stupid question Im sure!

Im 30 weeks pregnant, and DH works MAD shift (midnight, afternoon, day) and this is his last dayshift he works until DD gets here, which is the only shift that we can do date night on. He wants to go see a movie but I was wondering if it was safe because of how loud it always is? sorry this is totally dumb but just curious! TIA

  • yup totally safe. Maybe uncomfortable and you may have to leave to go pee half way through, but totally safe.

  • thanks for such a quick response! I know, I feel like we can't have dinner without having to run to the bathroom anymore!
  • From what everyone tells me, I should enjoy it now, because seeing movies will become a lot less frequent in a few months! That being said, we saw one last week, I peed twice during the movie, and I was really uncomfortable the whole time from sitting in the chair. Maybe that's just me, but I just felt claustrophobic and crowded.

  • I'd hope it's safe cause I have been a few couple concerts in the last few weeks that I'm sure were WAY louder than any movie every would be.

Totally this. The last time I went to see a movie, I had to pee like three times and then at the end I was falling asleep. Like it was all I could do to even keep my eyes open.

  • I highly recommend the app Run Pee.  You start the timer at the beginning of the movie and it tells you when is a good place to go pee.  AND it tells you what you're missing while you're in the bathroom.
