weight plateau?

Hi all! I am pretty thin normally (5'6", 120lbs), I gained a quick 15 lbs in the first 15 weeks. However my weight has kind of dropped off, Since November I've only gained 5-6 lbs. I know that at 28 wks, a 20lb weight gain is pretty average, but I'm kind of suprised it hasn't continued to rise much. Is anyone having a similar experience?
dx: MFI 0% morph & low count. Occasional Anovulatory cycles.

    That's not bad at all! My friends gained over 50 lbs with her first!

    dx: MFI 0% morph & low count. Occasional Anovulatory cycles.

    I did with DS and I think I'm going it again. I'm pretty petite. Both times I gained 20 lbs by 20 weeks. It was scary. I barely gained any weight in the 3rd tri with DS. I even lost a pound here and there. It's just the way my body is.

    This makes me feel better! I guess everyone is different...

    ducky - I've am also at 32 lbs and I have a solid 7 more weeks left than you!!! Ill be happy if I can keep it under 45 at this point.

    I knew I'd go over 35 and I'm not to worried about taking it off. Penny - like yourself I out most of my weight on in the beginning!

    There's been a few times where I haven't gained much weight in between doctor visits.  But I've found that during this time my boys have grown a lot, so they are basically taking all nutrients and leaving nothing for me.  As long as your baby is growing on track, there's no need to worry about how much you gain.  I can also say that I am still on track for overall weight gain for triplets even when I have my off weeks, so it's possible to make up for the lack of weight if it is a concern to you. 

                          

    PAIFW/SAIFW

    DS1 born July 2002 (previous marriage).

    TTC since Oct 08. DH Dx w/testicular cancer March 09.
    MFI due to retrograde ejaculation/azoospermia.
    5/2 IVF #1 cancelled due to large follie.
    6/14 start Lupron for IVF #1.2. 6/22 start stims.
    7/4 ER and Biopsy.
    7/9 Transferred 2 (1-4BB and 1-3BB) embryos.  4 frosties.
    7/15 +HPT 6dp5dt. 7/18 Beta #1: 193. 7/20 Beta #2: 415.
    8/10 1st u/s - It's triplets!

    I've stayed at the same weight for the past 6 weeks or so.  The OB didn't seem too worried about that though at my appt. last week.  So long as your eating and eating healthy, I think you're doing great.

    My belly is getting bigger, but the scale doesn't seem to be going up much at all.  I know LO has been growing on target with weight because I have frequent u/s to monitor my placenta.  I try to eat a lot, but I just can't seem to make the scale move.

    IVF #1: Sept 2011: Beta 10/10- BFP!! 1st u/s 10/31/11 1 blighted ovum, 1 embryo 2nd u/s 11/14/11 stopped growing, no h/b D/C 11/17/11

    IVF #2: FET 5/4/12 : Beta 5/16/12 BFN

    IVF #3: ET 7/6/12 : 7/18 Beta #1 BFP at 246, 7/20 Beta #2 at 713, 7/27 Beta #3 at 9068. 1st u/s 8/7 with one lovely hb.

    Wouldn't worry about it at all, especially if LO is measuring where they should be!

    I also have only gained 21 pounds since the beginning.  And my midwife says everything looks perfect! 

    Me 38, DB 38. Unexplained infertility. TTC 3 years. 3 failed IUI's. IVF #1 5-20. 3 embies transferred day 3. First beta 5-31. BFN. IVF#2 ER 7-31. 3 embies transferred day 3. Beta 1=144. beta #2=527. beta#3 3027. US: 1 perfect heartbeat at 156!

    I wouldn't say I've hit a steady plateau, but my gain has definitely fluctuated.  As long as your dr says you're healthy, I wouldn't be too concerned!

    I didn't start gaining until 18 weeks. I'm up 27 pounds so far, but the real gains have come in the last month. I'm hoping to stay right at or under 35 total but with this appetite....I'm thinking that's going to be hard!

    LOL I am a bit larger than you, like 40lbs larger lol.  I have gained a total of 15 lbs as of last week but again I already was a bit over weight to begin with so I think you are at a normal weight

    Hi Penny

    I go through spurts and plateaus.... No gain for 3 weeks then gain 5lbs in 2 weeks. Everyone is different and as long as baby is growing you should be fine.
