Can I get a show of hands...

Hi there! I typically post over on the IF board but I lurk over here when I need encouragement. I'm currently in need of a pick-me up! Can I get a show of hands of how many of you conceived during your first IVF cycle? We are getting ready to start next month and I'm just really emotional about it and nervous that it won't work.

    I did!  We did 2 clomid cycles and 2 IUIs first that were all BFNs.   For TTC #2 our 2nd FET worked but I have issues with crappy lining so I think that is why the first one failed.

    2 years, 2 surgeries, 2 clomid fails, 2 IUIs, 1 loss, IVF #1 - 10/25/10 = BFP!, DS is now 3.5yrs!
    TTC #2 - 6/12 surgery #3, FET #1 & 1.2 = BFN, 12/2012 FET #2 = BFP! DD is 1.5 yrs!
    Surprise! 12/16/14 BFP, loss #2 12/31/14

    I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929

    Me! We conceived DD with our first IVF cycle.

    It's an emotional roller coaster, and you have every right to be nervous. Just hang on tight and take it a day at a time.

    DX: Severe MFI 
    IVF # 1 ~ Antagonist ~ ER 1/27/11~ ET 1/30/11 ~ + HPT 7dp3dt

    Me too!  I was successful with the first IVF cycle both times (currently 10.5w pregnant with #2).  Good luck!
    10/10: Married; 5/11: Dx: Blocked Fallopian Tube; 7/11: D&C/Hysteroscopy to remove polyp
    IVF #1: 9/11: ER: 12R, 11M, 10F, No Frosties; 5dt: 2 blasts, 1 morula; DD born 6/3/12

    I did! Plus we only had one embryo to put back also so I feel ya on being nervous!  Good luck.

    Me!  I did accupuncture and I really think it helped, especially the session right after the transfer!

    We were successful on my first IVF cycle. Best wishes to you. It's an emotional roller coaster. I highly recommend acupuncture, meditation and keeping your eyes on the prize.

    I did! Had previously done 4 Clomid cycles and 4 Injects IUI cycles that all failed. Got pregnant from IVF 1 with 2 frosties to spare.

    IVF #1 ET 1 d3 embryo 10/30/11 BFP
    3 Embryos frozen (1 d5, 2 d6)

    DS born 07/29/12

    FET #1 ET 1 d5 embryo 02/10/15 BFN

    FET #2 1 d6 embryo didn't survive thaw, transferred last d6. CP :(

    Me! Sweet baby J was our first attempt at IVF.  IF is so scary and lonely. Hugs that your first cycle is a charm. 
    TTC Since 3/2010
    Me-36, Unexplained Infertility, DH-35, all clear
    Clomid 50mg 12/2011 = BFN
    Clomid 100mg 1/2012 = BFN, with Cyst
    IVF #1 Lupron/Menopur/Gonal-f/HCG Trigger
    ER 4/19/12 = 11 retrieved, 6 fertilized,
    ET 4/22/12 = 2 transfered (day 3), remaining 3 weren't good enough to freeze
    Beta 5/3 = BFP, 87 Beta #2 5/7 560.9 Beta #3 5/9 1376.5 First u/s One Baby, 125bpm!
    Second u/s, 176bmp! Kicked over to the OB by the RE at 8w. Team Green!! 
    Baby girl J arrived two weeks early! Born into water, med-free. Hooray for Team Pink!

    TTC #2 - back to the RE, treatment started 12/2014.

    I did! I conceived on IVF #1 and then on IVF #1 when TTC#2.

    TTC #1 since 8/09, Dx MFI 4/10
    IUI #1: 6/10 = Cancelled, IUI #2: 7/10 = Cancelled, IVF #1: 9/10 = BFP
    Baby girl arrived - 6/14/11

    TTC #2
    IVF #2 - Oct/Nov 2012: 11/5 - eSET - 7 Frosties - BFP
    Baby girl arrived - 7/17/13 


    TTC #3
    FET #1 6/21/18

    Raising hand!  Like many of the pp, I did acupuncture as well and I gave up caffeine a few weeks before and alcohol the day of the first lupron shot.
