Fixed....long rant!

I am totally SMH at my sister right now. Her DD was in the hospital with flu & pneumonia not long ago. DD is fine now but the logical part of my brain says to keep her inside and away from crowds until the weather is nicer. Well apparently my sister doesn?t have the same logic. She is planning DD?s baptism for the week after Allison?s birthday party (was originally the day after but the church had to reschedule) and invited like 70 people - all less than a month after her DD got out of the hospital. That isn?t why I?m SMH though.
Here is the schedule for the day.
10:00 ? 11:15 (or so) is the service. Right after the service they are doing a cake reception at the church (hope they get a big cake). Then, at 2:00 ? that?s right, three hours after the service ? they are doing lunch. The invitation says this, ?Please join us at restaurant name for appetizers, soda, coffee and a cash bar starting at 1:00 p.m. with lunch served at 2:00 p.m.?
Huh? It isn?t a wedding! Why the one hour cocktail type reception? Don?t get me started on how flipping tacky I think it is to put in the cash bar on the invitation. This is after a cake reception?before a fully catered lunch? So basically, this baptism event will start at 10:00 and be over around 3:00 or later.
The reason they are doing it so late is because it is at the restaurant where her H works and they are open until 1:00 on Sunday. So what happens if there are still people there? What if customers come n at 12:45 and aren?t done at 1:00??? When I asked why she wasn?t just doing it all at the church she said because she ?didn?t want to buy plates and silverware? for the catering. Are you kidding me?
Oh, and this is just me being me?.she used three different ?fancy? fonts on the invitation. All are scroll looking but they are absolutely three different fonts. Don?t know why but that bugs me, it just does!

The cash thing IS tacky.
