Chronic cold

Anyone else have a baby in day care that is chronically sick?

DD has had a cough (juicy cough) forever.  She started day care at 3mo and got her first cold one week later... she was sick until I pulled her out of day care for two weeks during which time she got better.  Then back into day care and, BAM, another cold.  So, for the first 7 months of her life she's only been well 3 months and 2 weeks.  The pediatricians just shrug and say that this is how day care is.  Are they right?  Anyone else experiencing this same thing?

    my son is almost 8 months, he has had an ongoing cold/virus for the past 3 months. I have a very clean home daycare but he still gets sick. The docs keep telling my its just a virus and has to run its coarse. they said in babies first year they can get 6-12 colds/viruses. Told me that it may seem like he always has it, but he maybe ending one virus as he gets another...never ending and so frustrating.
