Bath time has always been one of CK's most favorite times of the day. Until last Thursday night. Out of nowhere. Now, she cries and yells, "no no no!" and screams bloody murder - you'd honestly think we were ripping her limbs off. And, like I said, it totally came out of left field.
Based on what I've read, it's a "normal" phase for this stage of development - but dear God I need some tips. We've tried bubbles, new toys, bath markers, put her in while the water is running, put her in after the water is running, showers, bathing with her, etc. HELP!
And girl gets some GREASY hair after one day, so not bathing isn't the best option.
Re: Bath phobia out of nowhere...
My son went through this, and it sucked. We just did the fastest bath we could, LOL. He eventually grew out of it, and now he lays there and refuses to get out of the tub until all of the water has drained.
Singing helped us, and making up silly songs about the bath.
