Ok ladies, i will be 18 weeks tomorrow and have only gained 3 lbs. since I became pregnant. This is my second pregnancy but i swear i gained a lot more by this stage last time. I am scared that something might be wrong with the baby. I have not had any morning sickness, or any change in my diet. I have actually been eating healthier than what I was pre-pregnancy. I dont know if I should be worried about this or not?

Ditto pp's. I'm sure you're ok. I only gained 12 lbs total with my first pg and had a healthy baby 7 lbs 2 oz. I'm almost 18 weeks along now and though I haven't weighed myself in a while, I think I've only gained a couple lbs, but I lost weight during 1st tri due to lack of appetite.
Yep .

I went to the Dr today and asked him about me not gaining any weight. He said the baby is growing fine and there is no reason to worry. I am happy that I am not going to be as big as I was with my first pregnancy.
You only need 300 more calories more a day to feed the baby and most of the weight should be gained at the end when the baby is growing. Right now the baby only weighs 9oz.
Can't say it any better than this. Your doctor will let you know when/of it's a concern. Until then, don't fret. It's fairly common to not gain until later on, especially if you changed the way you eat.
I haven't gained anything and I'm almost 20w. No one is concerned.
Good job on eating healthier! Don't worry about your weight unless the doctor tells you to worry. I've only gained one pound so far (because I lost a bit due to morning sickness). Doc's cool with it, so I am as well.
Thank you ladies! This has helped ease my worries
