A little rash?

Hello!

I've noticed some red dots appearing on my belly recently. They don't itch, however, it seems that the same dots have appeared on my upper thighs and upper arms and those are very itchy! They are small and raised a little. Not sure if I should call the doc about it?

Am I allowed to take benadryl to see if it helps?

    My friend who is about 18 weeks had this. Are you using baby oil/ lotions? She used the same that never bothered her before now that she's pg it does. Once she move to cocoa butter it stopped.

    My doctor gave me a list of meds I can take for different things that are ok during my pregnancy and benadryl is on the list as being ok to take. Try that and if it doesn't help I would call your doctor and ask if you need to come in. They might want you to come in and take a look at it. Hope this helps.

    I use St.Ives. I've been meaning to buy some cocoa butter.

    Thanks ladies. I'll hit up some benadryl and call the doc.

    I just went through this with my doctor last week.  Just on the arms though and he said it could be the start of a pregnancy rash (PUPPS, I think it was called) he said to try cortisone cream or Benadryl and that should help.  Mine seems to come and go and sometimes itch more than other times. I've used the cortisone cream and that seemed to relieve the itch.  Hope this helps!
