do you need to start them on a vitamin? DS isn't a veggie fan and I knew he was getting what he needed with the toddler formula... now that we are switching over WDYT?
We do vitamin D drops (especially in the winter). While WCM does have Vit D our doctor said to still do a vitamin supplement especially in the winter. DD has really dropped her milk intake to around 15 oz a day so we were also concerned about Vitamin D. She is a good eater of other food groups.
We do a chewable vitamin similar to flintstones. Just to make sure she is getting all the vitamins she needs. She eats pretty well but only drinks about 10 ounces of milk a day.
Our LO, who is about to turn 1, is switching over now. For solid foods, all she will consistently eat are carbs. Our pedi recommended to keep giving her purees to give her the other nutrients she needs rather than giving her vitamins. Hopefully one day she will enjoy her meat, fruits and veggies.

Our pedi said if she is getting minimum of 18 oz and max of 24 ounces a day of WCM then she doesn't need an extra vitamin. That is if we are also feeding her a balanced meal.
