My kid is the new king of tantrums. I don't know what's going on with him this past week! He is so fussy, cranky, grumpy... He started getting mad and hitting things. He throws himself on the floor over and over crying and crying. He is miserable most of the time, just wants to hang on me and be held. He FREAKS out about just about every food I put in front of him, even stuff he loved 2 weeks ago. I can hardly get him to eat. I am sort of thinking teeth because he has been fussing or whimpering throughout the night too. But holy cow. I found myself saying tonight I'd take the colicky infant version of Gavin back. Blerg. I'm exhausted and frazzled.

Re: Tantrums galore
no fun. I guess I'm just feeling like its getting excessive. Like he's almost inconsolable at times. I can't figure out what's wrong with him...

I think E is very efficient. No flailing, no kicking ... she just opens her mouth and screams. She hears the word "no", her mouth starts to open, her face disappears, and all you see is uvula. As far as I can tell, she can go on like that indefinitely.
We had a good 'ol meltdown in the car this afternoon when I ran out of animal crackers.
Teeth, ears or a cold. This is what usually turns my kids into Tasmanian Devils.
Either way, no fun at all. I am sorry. Hopefully it gets better soon!
