Anyone in AZ? PCS'ing there from the UK

Hi everyone! We're a USAF family and will be PCS'ing from the UK to AZ this summer! And yes, I'll be about 6/7 months along at that time! Exciting, huh ;) This is our first so i'm pretty paranoid about everything, especially since we're in our 30's! Anyway, just wanted to say "hi!"

    Are you coming to Davis Monthan?  We've been here for a little under two years, and expecting our second in June!  We're in our 30's too...and this is a young base, so I'd be thrilled to have someone more my age!

    We're going to be at Luke- here at Lakenheath there's a mix but it's mostly people right out of tech school/first base.

    I've heard some good things about Luke, I think you'll enjoy yourselves!  It's definitely hot...I don't think anyone can actually fully acclimatize to these kinds of temperatures.   If you're on Facebook, there are quite a few wives' and moms' groups for the base.  Good luck on your big move and welcome home!

    We just left luke after 8 years....I sure miss it!  PM me if you have any questions.  I delivered my Son there too so let me know what area you plan on living in and I can help out!

    Thanks! There's a few people here (Lakenheath) who lived there but it was awhile ago... I know nothing about the area and I'll be about 6-7 months along when we move there! I'm hoping to finish my RN degree while there but i've already heard horror stories about trying to get in

    Arizona is such a great place and Luke is a great base all the doctors there are great I have been in az all my life and wouldn't change it but maybe some extra stuff todo
