I'm pretty sure everyone is past this maneuver seeing as my baby seems to be far behind but I'm so proud of her. She just went from laying down into the seated position for the first time. She's been trying to crawl for what seems like forever and she did this instead. I hope crawling is just around the corner.

That's great! Don't worry, your baby isn't the only one not moving around. DS still can't sit up from laying down and isn't crawling or scooting or anything.

Go baby, go! Our LO just started doing this as well. She doesn't crawl, just army crawls / scoots on her belly to get wherever she wants to go.

Yay! Micah just did that for the fist time this weekend, too! It's so exciting! He kinda makes his feet run fast enough to bring his butt up in the air, and then he can pull the rest of himself up. So he cant' do it on a slippery floor.
