Hello! My husband, baby girl (3 and a half months old) and I will be moving from New Orleans to Baltimore in June. DH and I used to live in Baltimore (we both went to Hopkins for undergrad) but we've been in New Orleans for 5 years now so I'm sure things have changed. We also were in a very different stage of our lives when we were living there. I'm just introducing myself on here since I'll need some friends in the area... we'll also be looking for a daycare for LO (she'll be 8 months old when we are moving), a pediatrician, a new place to live, any mommy & baby groups, La Leche League meetings, baby stores, etc.
I'd love to get to know some of you who have LO's around the same age!
Re: Intro: Moving to Baltimore in June!
Welcome back! Your daughter is gorgeous!
Any idea exactly where you'll be moving to?

Thank you!
My husband will be doing his residency at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore so we'll need to be within about 15-20 minutes of the hospital. We will most likely try to live in Baltimore City (Hampden, Charles Village, Roland Park, Mt. Washington) or possibly in the county (Pikesville maybe?).
Welcome back to Baltimore!
Our daycare owners just opened a new location in Hamden/Mt. Washington it is The Goddard School, Bare Hills. (The owners are the same as the Sparks location.)
I highly, highly recommend Goddard and Mike & Janelle!
We just moved to Parkville after living in an apt in Mt. Washington for two years! I love Sinai and will be having #2 there in May. I use OBGYN associates there. Here's another rec for Soft and Cozy baby in Hampden, love that place and the ladies that work there! As for pedi - we love Dr. Starr he's very close to Sinai too - though not affiliated with them.
We loved Mt. Washington, and Roland Park - we just couldn't afford to buy a house there! Welcome back to the area (soon-ish) I hope the superbowl craziness is fun for you in N.O.
