  We always go really small. Usually a card and some V-Day candy (We both like candy though), and maybe a small gift - I've gotten DH some funny V-Day boxers before, for example. DS was born on V-Day so it's really turned into a day about him rather than V-Day for us.

  This year I bought a book on How to Write a Love Letter.  Putting my feelings on paper or in words has always been difficult for me, so I'm hoping that writing a love letter on Valentine's Day will strengthen my own writing in general as well.  I got an expensive camera for him for Christmas, so I'm going inexpensive for this holiday.
