Any Donors Posting Here?

I am considering becoming an egg donor and was looking to see if there were any previous donors here. I am blessed with 3 beautiful kids and really have a strong desire to help other women become moms. Ive done my research and have even applied to a few clinics. Wanted to hear about the process from someone who has been through it. Thanks and good luck to all of you on your journeys!

    Not a donor, but wanted to say "Thanks" for considering becoming an ED.  Many of us would be out of option if not able to consider ED IVF.  Process is similar to IVF, except ED is finished at ER.  Many of us are familiar, have gone through IVF and would be happy to answer any questions that you may have.
    TTC since 10/09 Me-43 DH-44 RE and testing 10/10-11/10, Recommending IVF 1/11 New RE AMA and DOR-DH low motility IVF #1.1 cancelled 3/11 due to poor response IVF #1.2 May 2011, one perfect 8-cell embryo, 3dt-BFN, IVF #2.1 Converted to IUI d/t poor response. New RE 9/2011. IVF 2.2 completed using HGH,EPP,DHEA, Q-10 and accupuncture. Transferred one 8-cell, grade one embryo on 10/19. BFP 10/31/11 Chemical pregancy on 11/2/11. Started stims for IVF #3, our final try, on 12-2-11. ET on 12/18. Transferred 3 Grade A embryos-BFFN Planning DE IVF, late March/early April- Donors ER expected to be 4/2-4/4. PAIF/SAIF welcome

    I guess my biggest question is will I feel sick or not myself during the process because of the medications? My only reservation about doing this is that I won't be able to full care for my little ones during that 1014 days. Thanks in advance for all of your info!

    I am currently pregnant with our first, but I did two donor cycles two-ish years ago, I'm happy to answer any questions about it.  It was a very cool experience and I'm very glad I did it.

    My first cycle I did overstimulate and had a pretty rough recovery (but the retrieval went awesome, so that was great!).  I had to take about a week off work and was very carefully monitored by the doctors, and although it was very painful, I've had no lasting effects that I know of.

    My second cycle was textbook (they knew about the first time and adjusted my meds slightly), and I was up and at pretty much 100% the next day. 

    I'll check back if there are any other questions you have, I wish this board had existed when I did it!
