I'm looking at some type of size reduction belt thing for after LO is born; I bought the Medela pot-partum support and it rolled together and I ended up not wearing it long. I have seen the Shrinkx hip belt thing at the store, and the belly bandit and some others- any experience or recommendations? The Shrinkx claims it may even make your hips smaller than before which would be awesome if it actually *did* that, but we all know how those claims relate to real life.
Re: Speaking of belly bandit
I have a friend that used the Belly Bandit and loved it. She said it made her recovery much easier and helped her belly go down. She did have a C/S if that matters. I am having a RCS on Thursday and plan on looking into one PP. The only issue she complained about was the fact that you are supposed to graduate sizes as your belly goes down so it can get pricey. If I do go with a bad I think I might try and sew it to make it tighter as my belly goes down.
As far as the other belt's claim to make your helps smaller...sounds like BS to me. That would be sweet though.
