  At your next Drs apt ask them to check. I don't have any of the symptoms (itching/burning/swelling/discomfort) but knew something might be off about my discharge. My Dr did an internal on fri and sure enough I have a slight yeast infection. He told me its normal for pregnant women to get them, but bad to leave untreated.

  I think it would be normal to be a bit swollen or red due to increased blood flow to the area. The itchiness would have me more suspicious though. Just ask your doctor about it at your next appointment, he/she will check it out for you.

  I've been getting more and more irritated as pressure is building with a bigger kiddo bouncing around inside. So, the swelling and redness I would say is pretty normal. I do get a little itchy from time to time, but I think that's just the irritation with the swelling.

  If you're having any weird discharge (chunky or funky smelling, green or yellow, etc.) I would say it's definitely some kind of infection. It would probably be wise to be checked for a yeast infection since you've never had one before and have some of the symptoms of one. Hopefully, it's just a little irritation that will go away!
