My H does not. Clearly he missed out on so much toxic fun!
Also, while we're at it, let's bake some plastic! (WTF?)
Tigger & pooh:Shrinky dinks I remember but I don't remember that 1st one.
It was this goop that you put on the end of a straw and then made pretty, toxic, swirly balloons.
I Heart The 80s:Yes to both! Toxic fun for all!
Yay! I was really hoping you'd say that.
Spooko:YES! And I really wanted it. I did find some as an adult and tried it out. I'm sure I woulda loved the shiiit out of that as a kid.I also had shrinky dinks.

If they've re-made (and re-safed) the stuff, I'm totally down. Shrinky Dinks were the (probably BPA-filled) bomb!
Yup to both. Although I remember when *I* was a kid, you would ask the butcher for extra lids from the liver containers & use those for shrinky dinks.
<-------- is really old
I could never get the bubble stuff to work. My rock hard ball of goo would just blow off my stick.
I never had Shrinkey Dinks but in GS we used to bake styrofoam cups and bowls to make craft projects.
For SuzyQ and all March 15 loss moms
I was never allowed to have the bubble plastic. (Can't remember why, but my mom was funny about some things.)
Shrinky dinks are the bomb though!
I remember both.
I remember that the plastic bubble smelled like airplane glue. I am sure that stuff was definitely toxic. I could never get big bubbles either. Probably too high from the fumes.
I loved shrinky dinks and spent many hours in my kitchen making them.
I have a very vague recollection of the bubble thingy.
Shrinky Dinks I have very clear fond memories of. I clearly remember making smurfs shrinky dinks. :-)

My mom bought me some shrinky dinks for my birthday last year. She was out and saw them and remembered how much I loved them when I was little.
