Mobile Bumpers: Christmas/Valentine's/Baby Moon getaway
For Christmas, I got a pair of tickets to go see one of our local comedians. The tickets came with a note from my mom for "free babysitting services". The show is March 20th (a Wednesday)
My mom coming over to watch the girls for the evening means she'll be at our place by 5 or 6 at the latest, then spend the night and won't leave until probably 9 or 10 the next day. I figured we might as well make the most of our outing, so I asked my mom if she thought she could pick up the girls from DC on the Wednesday and then drop them off on Thursday morning, so DH and I get to enjoy 2 days with just the 2 of us. She said yes!
DH and I will get a nice hotel room, maybe a couple's massage, and have a nice meal that doesn't involve spilled milk, a green bean hiatus, or repeating the same thing 10 times over. Then we'll get to SLEEP!!!!!
I am so excited!!!! Now I just have to find a super swanky room that won't cost us an arm and a leg!

The fact you're all jealous is only making me that much more excited about it. LOL.
Seriously though, once the LO comes, I have a feeling DH and I won't get to do anything like that for several months, so the timing couldn't be better.
