So we are getting Allison's pictures done at our photographers in-home studio. Her backdrop is white (she is just getting started so limited in options!). It just seems so boring! I don't want to do a lot of clothing changes - hello cranky baby! - but have a question. We have this dress that I really want to put her in. Would it look ok on a white backdrop with a small bunch of pink balloons behind it?
We would change her into something else after that one but i just don't know how a white dress will work...
I'm thinking we MAY be able to do some outside if the weather isn't horrible, but I just don't know. I mean, tomorrow is going to be 60 and Thursday is going to be like 15! It has been such a strange winter, I don't want to count on anything.

I thought the same thing! The dress was a baby shower gift and it is just now fitting her! I love it so much but if she doesn't wear it for pictures then she will NEVER wear it (so sad!).
I'm just torn....
I did pics of DD white on white - she was in a little Children's place white skort and white polo shirt - it was the first time she said she wanted to play tennis and really showed an interest in clothes. It turned out really, really cute. It was a LOT of white though. The pink balloons will break it up IMO.
Can you provide a photo prop item to break up the white? (Thinking a swag of furry pink material from a fabric store for her to sit on to match the balloons?)
You could tape a few light and dark pink balloons at different heights behind her like this:
That is EXACTLY what I was thinking! I'm so happy you found a picture of it! Thanks!!!
