So, the CBEFM Confirmed a BFP, yesterday, so we've been let's say..busy this weekend! But now...the 2 week waiting period begins!! I know I have left tubal blockage..and can REALLY feel ovualation on my right side yesterday and today!!!! It really hurts...anywho, I go to the RE tomorrow for the first time. But, I know, the two week waiting period is on! I had an HSG last Monday, and I've heard success stories about they dye pushing everything through.
Anyways, how do the rest of y'all deal with the 2 week waiting period?
Re: Anyone else tired of the 2 week waiting period?!
You mean a positive like with an OPK right, because BFP usually is only used for positive pregnancy test so at first I thought I accidentally opened a "Squee! I'm PG!!" post.
As for how I deal with the 2ww....I''ve dealt with 51 of them in three and a half years. You just get used to it. The only ones that are really *hard* are the treatment cycles (only four so far). I deal with the treatment cycles by trying to do new things, read books, bake bread, try new recipes, organize or clean areas of the house.
I know there is saying that the first three cycles after the HSG is the most fertile, but please try not to get your hopes up. 1 in 8 couples deal with Infertility. I'd say only one in a thousand actually get PG right after an HSG with no other treatment. I know it's easier said than done, but I wish someone had given me realistic expectations back when I had mine in May of 2010.

Thanks for the advice!
Been dealing with the 2WW for two yrs now, it's gotten easier for me, I just live life. Good luck at RE tomorrow.
I was hopeful thinking I'd get pregnant after HSG because I had read several success stories, not in my case though. Make sure your DH gets SA too, just to make sure he has no issues.
Trying since Jan 2011. Unexplained IF.

July 2012 - Tests with RE confirmed PCOS and annovulation
Like others have said, you get used to the 2WW after awhile. I don't obsess like I used to when we first started TTC. I just go on living my life.
So far I think my hardest 2WW was our treatment cycle with my ob/gyn, I really got my hopes up that it would work. I'm sure next cycle will be hard too, since it will be our first treatment cycle with our new RE.

PAIF/SAIF Welcome!
I plan a lot to do during my 2WW. I found dinner with friends, family time or excursions with the DH get me out of the house and stop the obsessing in my brain, if even just for a few hours. I don't want too much stress, but fun activities.
PS. I have a left tube blocked and just had HSG earlier this month. Doc even saw two follicles about to drop during sono, but still got BFN. Going back to the doc next week to determine next steps.
