Had my first visit this pregnancy to L&D, yay for me (sarcasm)! While my OB's offices is the largest in town they do not have an after hours or on-call line. Since there is at least one doctor from the practice at the hospital (or very close to) at all times, you have to go to L&D to talk to the on-call doc. So last night, after putting my daughter down, I head to the bathroom to pee and I had spotted blood (bright red), and it was there when I wiped too! I freaked out. In my personal experience, bleeding during pregnancy never equals anything good... I never even bled with my daughter until I started pushing her out! So that coupled with the extra pressure I've been feeling, my BH, and this, I went straight for L&D. Well after a NST and a cervical check everything checked out fine and the bleeding was gone. Bonus, my OB was the dr on-call... Could not figure out what was wrong other than, I'm on aspirin this pregnancy so it could be making me bleed easier... And no, no hankie pankie in a while or vaginal exams in over a week or so and I haven't strained anything out of the other end... No clue, but I don't want to see blood coming from that part of my body for at least another 11-13 weeks.

Re: Count me in on the L&D train!
Sorry for the scare!!! Hopefully nothing like this happens for the rest of your pregnancy!!!!
On a side note, I just had a minor freak out when I read 11-13 weeks!!!! Holy geez that makes it sound SUPER close!!!
yeah... 11-13 weeks is crazy, isn't it!?
And thank you ladies for the support!
