Alright, I think it's time that we actually start doing some tooth brushing since I found the eighth tooth this morning. I've been letting him use a training toothbrush for months now but we have yet to do any serious cleaning with toothpaste. What do you like?
I'm with you... we just give him a toothbrush to play with..chew on and such so we would get used to having one in his mouth. For a kid that gagged on food badly he sure doesn't mind shoving eveything else down the back of his throat lol
We've been brushing regularly every night for about a month now, but just with water (I picked up an Oral-B baby toothbrush at Target). My pedi said to either not use toothpaste until he's older or to get fluoride-free baby toothpaste, because they don't do well with spitting and it's not good for them to swallow the toothpaste with fluoride in it.
