  • I have mine this week too. I should find out when at my monitoring appointment tomorrow morning. I am feeling much the same way - anxious, nervous, excited!

    Good luck to you!!

  • Mine will probably be next week, my first one too!

I have heard most ladies say they were fine the next day to go to work.

  • I was miserable for about three days. I was very bloated and also don't do well with anesthesia so that doesn't help. If you can I would take a day off. If you can't I hope you sit in a chair at work because hard labor might not be real comfortable. Good luck to you.

  • Sounds like everyone has different experiences with ER.  I took one extra day off, I was able to work the second day after ER but I was moving really slow...every move made my belly hurt.  Sitting in a chair was also very uncomfortable just from being bloated.  It would probably be a good idea to at least take the next day off and see how you feel.

  • I had my first ER on a Sunday and was able to work the next day with no discomfort at all. But it seems like everyone's experience with ER can vary. Good luck!!
