QOTD: DH and I met through a mutual friend and he was my neighbor. He lived 4 doors down my block. We both were instantly attracted to each other, but I had a BF at the time, so we didn't actually start dating for a while. Once we did things moved quick! Dated 6 months, got engaged and was married 6 months later

Still playing the waiting game. One more appt tomorrow morning for lab work (I think to check progesterone) and then it's more waiting till AF so we can begin dIUI#1.
Q: DH and I met through my ex-bf. He was a friend of his and had a gf at the time. When we both got dumped we found ourselves hanging out even more together than before..and in the end, thanking our exes for giving us the axe!
DX: DH (30) severe MFI, severely low count & low motility
Me (32): all clear
Appt with Urologist 5/21/12: exam, ultrasound, bloodwork all normal.
Testicular Biopsy with TESE on 6/8/12. good sperm found! (left side only) froze sperm, failed thaw test
Orientation for IVF/ICSI on 6/13/12. Waiting for the green light following biopsy results...results show adequate sperm production both sides.
2nd SA 6/18/12: sample is "adequate for ICSI"
Plan: IVF/ICSI July 2012!
ER: 7/26/12. 15 eggs retrieved, all mature.
TESE/TESA/aspiration from epididymis, no motile sperm found
froze all eggs, the saga of praying for good sperm continues.
8/3/12: 2nd opinion from MFI uro on biopsy slides. Suspects "partial late maturation arrest."
Plan: more SAs, third biopsy/TESE with frozen back-up either from DH or DS.

Hello ladies! I had a u/s Wed that showed a lining of 5.17 which is up from the 3 soemthing it was the week before. I had some spotting yesterday so Im scared its my lining trying to crap out on me but hopefully its just left over from AF last week. Any thoughts? I go back to see my RE for him to do the scan on Tues and give me the all systems go for a 2/4 transfer and start PIO
on Wed. I normally get cancelled at this appt and with the spotting yesterday Im more nervous than ever. We shall see!!
QOTD: PG13 version is I went to a party with another guy and he ended up being a real douche bag and completly shwasted after about 30 minutes of being there. I left and came right back thinking it was stupid for me to leave a party of a bunch of hot guys because of one douche bag. I began playing pool with one of DH's friends and met DH. We hung out the following night with the same group of friends minus the douche bag. The following week we watched movies at his house and I went home each night. The next week I brought clothes to stay the night and by the next week I had basicaly moved in. We lived together for 5 years, bought a house in October, got engaged in May, and married in September. We have been together 7 and married one. I know its not the most romatic story but dont judge I was 19.
Update: I went in for a u/s and everything looked great. My lining is somewhere between a 5.6 and a 6.17. So the spotting is either irritation from the suppositories or old AF. And she told me to drink pomogranate juice to help with my lining. It tastes AWFUL!!
Hi ladies!
Had my baseline ultrasound today and we are all clear, started stims right when we got home! I have ELEVEN baby follicles. This is AMAZING for me because I'm AMH 0.28 (a year ago) and a year ago my AFC was 7. Dr. said she couldn't ask for anything better. Something I'm doing right (diet, exercise, supplements) must be working. So I'm thrilled with that and excited to be stimming!
QOTD: We met online. Creepy right? We talked on webcam before we met in person. We got together a couple of times in person and it was a total disaster, I mean, we just didn't get along at all. Awful. We stopped talking for over a year. Then one day I just emailed him out of the blue. We started talking, we starting getting together for longer and longer periods of time, we fell in love, we got engaged, we got married, and here we are! Second time was a charm for us I guess.

January PAL Siggy Challenge: Good Advice
I met DH online. I took my time meeting him in person ... months, actually, during which we exchanged a few emails ... but once we met we got serious pretty fast.
BOOTS: please do tell us what you've been doing that moved up your AFC so much!
Gave up caffiene, cut waaaay back on alcohol (not to zero though), started working out almost every day, high protein/low carb diet, no soy, lots of cruciferous vegetables, and DHEA, DHA supps. I also lost about 7 pounds. I know right? I can't beleive something actually went right for me! Now I want to GET all eleven of them!!!

QOTD: we met thru a mutual friend who I worked and lived with and he knew from college. He randomly was at our house one evening when I got home from my sister's bridal shower.... Total set up but it worked :
Had my second baseline today and we are a go!! Lupron drops to 10 units tonight and I'll continue on this every night until my lining check. I also get to start my estrace tonight. Lining check is scheduled for 2/7.
QOTD: MH and I met at church. He was 4 years ahead in school so he was helping out with the jr. high youth group. By my high school graduating we were hanging out a lot together, he was going into his senior year of college and I was just starting college. We began dating and the rest is history, :-)

FET is one week from today. I take my ovidrel tonight and then start PIO on Saturday (hoorah).
MH has a terrible cold, so I am sleeping in the guest bedroom until he gets better. I want none of that right now.
DH and I don't remember how we met. We were five. We do know it was at church.

Day 3 of Lupron and doing okay. Hot flashes are crazy but other than that I'm good to go!

DH and I met through Cupid.com in September 2007!! I never thought I would meet a boyfriend, let alone my husband, on an Internet dating site but..... I did! I had 3 other dates before DH and those dates were disaterous! So going in to the date with DH I had no hope whatsoever! So I got a little drunk an sang kareoke "heaven is a place on earth" and completely embarrassed myself. DH thought it was cute and shockingly stuck around and married me! Haha!
At our wedding reception I surprised him and sang "Heaven is a place on earth" to him! Everyone was surprised. And the best part was I sounded terrible and everyone kept telling me how wonderful I sounded! Lol! No one knew the story of our first date. DH loved it and it is a secret we share about our first date :
Still chugging along on BCP. I go for my baseline next Wednesday and start Lupron on the same day. I got my big package from the RE on Wednesday with all my lab slips and instructions. I am a bit freaked out. There are so many things to do and I'm really scared of making a mistake or forgetting to do something.
I'm also a bit sad because it says I need to cut out all caffeine - which isn't a huge deal, except they specifically say chocolate!
QOTD: Years before I actually met DH, I saw him at my office and thought that is a really cute guy. I work at a large company and I ended up transferring offices shortly after that. I was too shy to find out who he was too. Fast forward a few years and one of my work friends invited me to a happy hour and there he was! She introduced us, we went on a date a couple weeks later, and then were engaged four months later. ?

Well ladies looks like I will be a fab hopeful heart! Not sure if many of you have followed but I am a polar bear lady, but since I have so many more eggs than usual my lining took a huge hit, prog. was like a 4, and will not be able to transfer as was scheduled. ER is tom. so far 15 eggs (that is record for me). This was my 3rd IVF cycle fresh, sigh. I hear lots of good things about FET, but I will admit have no real idea or info on it so school me ladies.
It will prob. be very end of Feb that we will have FET. Thanks for having me 
I met my husband through his cousin. I was roomates with his cousin and we were walking to my mom's house (she lived right next to hs football field where they set off fireworks). We saw hubbs at store on the way, and because I am friendly I asked hey if you are not doing anything come with us to watch them. I can honestly say when I met my husband I saw fireworks

Hi Ladies! I'm doing very well this round of stims. Don't want to jinx myself, however, so I'm staying cautiously optimistic. After a low AFC and hormone levels that had went up since december , I've responded VERY well to this antongonist protocol. My IVF nurse says I'm "over achieving" . I guess I'd rather that than not responding. I went in yesterady and today, and will be back tomorrow for more monitoring. I have about 17 follies (YAY!!) Grow babies Grow! My lining was graded an A!!! It just needs to thickenup up a bit, but that should happen over the next couple of days. I keep praying that everything goes as planned... I don't take hiccups in the cycle very well.
As for the QOTD:
My Dh and I met in law school. We were in the same section our first year (meaning we had every class together), but he had a gf. I was single and loving every minute of it. After we had a major brief due, our class went out and DH got drunk and asked for my number. He called me drunk that night, but he had gf so I stayed away. It was until a year later that I saw him back at school during our 2nd year (he was now single). He facebook "friended" me and that was that. We have been dating ever since. I must say I ended up with the HOTTEST guy in law school. All my law school friends were jealous I landed the best looking guy in our class

Nothing new here! Still waiting on AF. I have all meds except the micro dose lupron. I was told to not order it yet because it has to be compounded and there is a potential it could expire before I am finished with it. Of course now I have a little anxiety that AF will come unexpectedly and I won't get it in time to take on CD 2!

SURPRISE! BFP 8/8/16 EDD 4/1/17
Hey ladies, Went in for a monitoring appt. for FET. Still on twice weekly estrogen injections. Third one is in an hour and a half. I have to say the FET is less intense than the fresh cycle so far. I am just hoping I get to a transfer. FX. My progesterone arrived yesterday and there were no crystal which is a relief since the last batch had crystals in both vials. Transfer is still on so far for 2/4. Next monitoring appt is on Tuesday.

I have had a few caffeinated beverages and feel like I have sabotaged myself (even though I know that is ridiculous)! I know you are upset about not being able to transfer right away but it is comforting to know that your doctors are doing everything they can to give you the best chance possible. Good luck at your ER!!
Still hanging out on Lupron. AF just arrived today. Baseline is next Wed morning. My biggest fear is that they are going to tell me my endo is back and that the cycle is cancelled. It may all just be in my head, but I swear I can feel the cysts from time to time. i guess we'll just have to wait and see.
QOTD: He was the cute older supervisor at work when I first started. I had a huge crush on him, but didn't think he would ever see me that way. About a year and a half later I moved away for a promotion. 6 months after that I was home visiting and ran into him at a bar for a mutual friends birthday. We ended up back at his place watching movies that night. He came to visit me the following weekend, and we ended up spending every weekend together after that until he requested a transfer with work and moved 2 hours to be with me a whopping 3 months later. It only took him 3 1/2 years to propose, but once he did we got married 6 months later.
Only change for me is that I got my calendar in the mail so now I know what my schedule will be. Even more real now. I have my sono on Tuesday.
DH and I met in NY at a bar during a basketball tournament through mutual friends when I was back in college. i had no voice from cheering at the games so it was rather awkward. Too bad he found out later I could talk! Months later he was hanging out with all my friends and when I got dumped by my bf at the time, we got together. Four months later we were engaged.

QOTW: DH and I met through a mutual friend. He was married at the time and we were all very friendly. Years later he divorced and he and I remained friends...at some point that turned into a relationship, we moved in together, got married and here we are 5+ years later. Had baseline today, and started stims tonight! I am doing a crapload of meds:
450 gonal F, 150 menopur AND femera for the next 5 days. Go back next monday/weds/friday to see how things are going. i am so dreading the uber-bloat!

Update: I am expecting to ovulate sometime with the next five days or so. Then starting my pre-IVF cleansing diet. I do gluten free and caffeine free all the time, but I will cut out alcohol 100% and decrease carbs. We were delayed from starting stims this cycle b/c of an unexpected chemical pregnancy, so looking at starting stim mid-February.
QOTW: We met out at a bar / restaurant / live music venue. I was with a girlfriend who asked me to go and see her friend play in a band. DH was there. We saw each other from across the room. I was secretly thinking how handsome he was, and next thing I know, he came up to talk to me! We started seeing each other and the rest is history!

Heartbeat on U/S at 6w1d! Baby,please stay!!
We had a our baseline u/s and blood work on Wednesday. All looked well except my TSH was a little high so I will have another set of bw done tomorrow to see if I need to go on thyroid meds. We will have to wait and see. Anyway, I was told to continue to follow my calendar as directed. I'm on the Estrogen patches now, and lupron is reduced. Next u/s is Feb 6. We are still waiting for the embryos to be made, but I think we are still on schedule for mid Feb transfer.
As for the QOTD...
DH and I met on eharmony. He was still just a guy I was dating when I got the cancer diagnosis, by the end of the treatments he was my hero. And then he married me! He's the best.
