I'm not sure if I'm allowed to do this, so if I'm breaking a rule of the forum, just let me know and I'll delete my post. I need help. I'm in grad school for speech language pathology and I'm taking a course called Auditory Rehabilitation. it's basically about hearing aids and other technology and techniques to help people with hearing impairments. It's really interesting. Anyway, I have an assignment coming up that I could use some help with. I need to interview 3 people whose children have cochlear implants or hearing aids. Between my husband and I, we know two people for me to interview, but I can't think of how I can find a 3rd. My husband said it'd be tacky to just post something on facebook about it. I thought maybe it'd be okay to ask here. It's not a real interview, per se. I just need to find someone to answer 7 questions about their experience with cochlear implants/hearing aids and their praises or complaints about those experiences. I don't need to know anything personal about your kid, so you could leave out his/her name and age. Would anyone be willing to help me out? If so, PM me and we can exchange email addresses so I can send you the questions. I promise this isn't spam or anything shady. If you don't like the idea of sharing info with a stranger, any ideas of how I can find someone to interview? My only other idea is a former student I taught who had cochlear implants, but I have no way to get in touch with his parents, since I taught him several years ago.
