37wks, sick, just want baby boy to stay put!

I am still trying to get over this flu!  I am so scared that this baby will be the ONE that decides to come early.  I am not throwing up or hurting anymore, but the cough and weezing will NOT go away!  I am so frustrated.  I am sleeping TONS, and drinking lots of oj and water etc.  I feel so helpless like I am never going to get better.  SIL is a ped at hospital and told me that it is pretty normal for them to separate the baby from mom for 48 hours if mom has flu symptoms.  Making me so anxious!

    Good luck hun!  Maybe ask doc if you can take an Ecchineacha/Golden Seal.  I haven't ever taken it while prego, but used to take it when I wasn't prego for the flu along with Vit C when I was sick.

    Helped a lot in the way of an extra lil boost in getting over a cold or the flu.

    One of my friends just had her seventh baby while battling the flu. Her husband and other six kids also had the flu. They made her husband and kids stay away and quarantined her and the baby at the hospital for four days until everyone was better!

    I am on day 7 of being pretty sick (though I think it's just a bad cold/virus and not the flu).  I totally feel your pain and fear!  Hope you feel better soon...

    April 2012: Clomid (50mg) + Injects + TI = BFN
    May 2012: Clomid (100mg) + Injects + TI = BFP on 6/8/12

    I'm in the same boat. I would like LO to hang tight while I get better. I'll be 38 wks tomorrow, so I better hurry up and get rid of this. Problem is I have cough variant asthma and sometimes hold onto coughs for 3-4 weeks.
