Crib safety

So, my Dad is making a crib from scratch.

He's excellent with wood and made our beds (my sis and I) for when we were little... I trust him fully as he's been a woodworker for almost 40 years

I just need to find a place that has a list of "safety requirements" like how far apart slats should be etc for him to make it since he wants to make it safe and isn't an internet person...

Re: Crib safety

  • The Consumer Product Safety Commission has the new regulations on their website.  www.cpsc.gov
  • Loading the player...
  • My uncle made mine--I think I might have a paper that says where he got the directions/patterns from.  I'll look for it tonight.

ETA: I found the papers, they are from a 'wood" magazine from a number of years ago.
