No date night?

Anyone else not been out alone with the hubs yet? After we got the reflux under control at 2 months, LOs been pretty good out and about, so we've taken her with us. But now that we've passed the 6 month mark, I feel pretty lame. Are we the only ones??

    We have not been on a date yet. My husband says that when he gets home he wants to spend time with our LO so in turn we don't go out without her. I cant wait until we have some alone time.

    Nope, we haven't either.  My SO is not ready to leave our LO with a sitter yet.  He is a SAHD so I think it is harder on him than it is on me  Although when I first went back to work it was difficult, but I would love to get out for even just a movie.

    Last weekend was our first time, but my parents who were babysitting called us in the middle because they couldn't get him to stop crying, so we had to go get him. Hopefully we can do a redo soon, because I think it's really important for your marriage.

    If you have childcare available, go for it! We try to go on a date every week or two. Sometimes just simple like a walk or more involved like dinner or show but it is good to have that nourishing time together. And i think it makes us better parents to keep our relationship strong. Some nights we will go out right after ds goes to bed like at 8 for an hour or two so no one misses out on ds time, so you could try that to start if you don't have much time with your LO.
