Do men go through nesting also???

So we had our baby shower today and my husband INSISTED on putting everything away the moment we walked through the door (even though I was sooo tired but I had to help or else he would do it himself and I would have to do it over). Then he wen through the apartment cleaning and putting everything in order, Has anyone else experienced HUSBAND NESTING or is my husband weird???

Mine is currently in our upstairs bathroom ripping down wallpaper and prepping to paint...this is a project I've wanted to do for 2 years...6 weeks before baby comes seems like the perfect time to start!

When S/O and I went shopping for closet organizing stuff he went storage crazy. When we got home he sat me down and then started organizing the closet, then I had to talk him out of buying more storage boxes hahaha

I am fully convinced men go through everything we do (unless it has to do with lady parts).

My husband craves food now, has started nesting, and he has started feeling some of the same ailments I talk about.

Oh no...your hubby isn't the only one! For the last 2 weeks my husband has decided to do about 7 household projects that have been on the "to-do" list for the past 3 years now! He also wanted to assemble everything from our baby showers as soon as they came through the door - lol

I would give anything to have a nesting husband! Seems mine is more concerned with gettin in as much video game time and sleeping before a second baby comes hahaha.

Mine is totally nesting. As a result, the spare bedroom is now turned into a nursery, complete with a decorating theme he chose and all the baby stuff is assembled. I also get a running countdown of how many weeks until the baby is expected to arrive and a weekly list of the things we don't have yet and need. He has also been taking all the baby gear to my parent's house to show them how it functions for when they babysit. Just guessing, but I'm pretty sure after 4 kids my parents know how to work a diaper bag...I will be glad when the baby gets here so he can stop freaking out about being prepared.

Ugh. I wish. DH just wanted to carry everything in and it's not getting touched until tomorrow (my shower was today, also). Plus we still have boxes sitting around from when we moved... in JUNE.

My hubby is nesting! He is a different person, I fell in love with him all over lol! He is so helpful! He does stuff without me asking! Were moving and he is so helpful, he's keeping everything so organized

Haha sounds like my DH. Today we were out shopping and he says to me that there are a couple of video games coming out about a week or so before our due date that he wants to get. Since he's going to be off for two weeks after the baby is born and will have time to play them. HAHA I just gave him the look and told him if that's what he thinks he's going to be doing I'm sending him back to work!

This is my husband....except it isnt the bathroom it is the nursery that I wanted cleaned out a while ago and now 6 weeks to go he decided he wants to do an elaborate nursery with a mural (he is very artistic). He cracks me up. I feel bad though because we are looking for a house or land to build. He insists on making it perfect though .

Definitely! DH has been cleaning top to bottom for over a week now. He used to leave dishes and kitchen cleaning for me but after every meal he's in there cleaning. Not to mention we going to buy a few more things today and he's already figuring out where it should all go. I'm loving it!

Love these stories! My DH is nesting too. This weekend, he installed a fan in our bathroom, fixed a hall light that's been broken since we moved in years ago, installed our car seat and set up the bassinet. AND he asked me where my to do list was to see what he should do next. HAHA So unlike him... This is our second baby too, so I guess he remembers how tired you are after a little one arrives and how nothing gets done.
