Heard the heart beat!

Supposedly STMs can find the HB earlier than the first pregnancy, so I've been checking for a few days and definitely found it a few minutes ago!  It registered 171 on my doppler, right in line with the 176 we saw during Thursday's u/s.  Of course as soon as I went downstairs so DH could hear I couldn't find it again, but still exciting!  I couldn't find it until about 12 weeks with DS.

ETA (for mobile people): I'm 8 weeks 5 days

    According to some of the STMs on August, since things move/stretch out faster.

    That's great! My first appt with my MW is at 9 weeks 5 days and since I'm a STM too, I'm hoping that I will hear the heart beat. Too bad that appt is soooooo far away!

    That's so great! I'm glad you got that reassurance.

    I'm 8w6d and I'm thinking I'll wait at least a week until I try. I'm a FTM and I have a tilted uterus, but this is my 3rd pregnancy. I wonder if that might help me hear it early?

    After RPL testing my losses and subsequent infertility are considered unexplained.
    Cycle #22: Femara, TI, and progesterone = BFP!! 
    BFP#3 Dec 21, 2012. Beta #1 @14dpo = 134, progesterone 67.8. Beta #2 @ 17dpo = 664! Team green, EDD 9/1/13, healthy baby boy born 9/12/13!
