Hi Ladies!
Thanks so much for the support - I was reading everyones posts this morning before the surgery and it made me feel a lot better.
As you said, things were totally fine. The hurry up and wait this morning (get there at 7 and sit until 8:45) was nerve wrecking but since I couldn't have coffee, I was half asleep anyway.
I got an IV at 8:45 and went to the OR where my doctor and 5 other nurses/dr/anesth were waiting. The number of people there to help honestly made me feel a lot better and I knew I was going to be good. One minute I was awake the next minute I was in recovery! I remember asking if they were giving me propopol the drug Michael Jackson used. Of all things for me to say! (Ps- she laughed and said yes!)
So the news is that he found and removed scar tissue on the top wall of the uterus. He said it was a small amount, described it as cobwebby. It is impossible to know if this was a result of the mc or was there before but he said its existence is a roadblock for me getting/staying pregnant as its location is smack where embryos implant. This is amazing news to us. As we all know, in this twisted world of IF sometimes bad news is good news as long as we can fix it.
The only thing left is the pathology report which will come back next week.
All in all not too bad. I am still groggy and tired but feeling very positive about the results and am extra optimistic about the upcoming clomid/iui! Plus MH is waiting on me which is a bonus
