anyone still on reflux meds?

We've got DS's 9mo appt next week (a little late...) and he is still on his reflux meds.  I guess we haven't really tried him without the meds since his 6mo appt, cuz we wanted to see if he still needed it then. I know they should grow out of it and I know each baby is different... But just wanted to see if anyone else was still on 'em. He started on Zantac and switched to Prevacid.

    We stopped right before his 9 month appt.  He was sick a lot over the past month, and we kept forgetting to give it, since he was on so many other meds. Pedi said to see how he was without, and he seems to be doing ok.  Oh. We were on Prevacid as well.

    We switched from Zantac to Prevacid about 1.5 months ago. I have very bad GERD and have had surgery. I am doubtful lo will outgrow it with my history, but I am hopeful it won't be as bad.

    We're still on Zantac here, although I wonder if it's time to try and cut back on it to see if she really still needs it.

    Pedi actually just added one. I was hoping to have him off of them by now but its still pretty bad. DS is on Prevacid, Zantac 2x a day, and Bethanachol 3x a day. :(

    We still are. I mentioned it at the 9m appt but he was having other issues- asthma, food allergies, etc that she said lets not risk any added pain for now.

    She mentioned possibly changing the meds to something with more of an antihisthamine because of his allergies (tagament) but we havent switched yet
