Dark red blood

Went home early today because of severe abdominal cramping due to what I thought was a nasty stomach bug. I had a lowgrade fever and headache. I went to the bathroom hours later and there was dark red blood in the toilet and when I wiped. OB oncall says its possible the stomachs virus caused some uterine cramping and bleeding, but I just don't feel good about it. I think it's bad. I'm not scheduled to see the dr for 6 more days. I'm 7w4d. Very sad and nervous.

    Try not to panic yet. The OB may be right. Usually, they're all doom and gloom, expecting the worst. See how it goes the rest of the night, though. When I miscarried at about the same time, I had cramps and some bleeding and within 20-30 minutes I was in full-blown evacuation mode with heavy bleeding and strong cramps-- like a really heavy, strong period. It never let up during the rest of my work shift (about 7 hours) and then let up sometime in the middle of the night before finally slowing down to almost nothing by 48 hours.

    So if it's just a little here and there, try and stay positive. I'll send you good juju that the OB on call was right!

    Ditto what the PP said.  With my loss, once the bleeding started it didn't stop, nor did the intense cramping.  T's&P's everything is okay.  I am so sorry you are going through this.

    Im sorry I understand how scared you must be. I hope you don't have more bleeding and it turns out to be nothing. I had a couple times of seeing blood early on also and things are fine now.

    I think u will be ok. it may be old blood. u may have a hemmorage that should resolve.?
