s/o celebrities and stretchmarks or lack thereof

This sorta goes with the theme of the day (elective Cs).  But, I had heard that most celebrities have elective Cs around 37W to prevent stretchmarks (because most of the time they show up at the end of PG).  I think a nestie who's uncle was an OB in LA posted this a while back.

Just thought that was interesting (if true) considering how many people feel about elective Cs especially at 37W.  You do never see celebrities with stretchmarks.  I guess it could also be the automatic tummy tuck with the C too, LOL.

    Don't forget all the airbrushing too....who knows what's really going on with celebs, unless they're caught by paparazzi on vacation or something.

    She didn't have a C did she?  I should clarify it's rare to see stretchmarks on a celeb.  Even in the undoctored bikini shots you see on Perezhilton or something.  And you mostly hear about them having C's.

    I was surprised that Angelina Jolie had one with her first and obviously with the twins.  She seemed like she is so the opposite with everything else when it comes to mothering.  Gwen Stefani surprised me too...lots of them do the elective c-section.  Although Jessical Alba went all natural...I thought that was cool.
