The short story: there's a blogger called The Skeptical OB who focuses on the dangers of homebirth. Needless to say, she has made enemies. One of these homebirth advocates, named Gina sent the SOB (skeptical OB) a picture of herself giving the SOB the finger. Gina then, in an attempt to shut down the SOB, filed a DMCA notice against her webhost, claiming that SOB's publishing the middle finger image was copyright infringement.
After bouncing from host to host, SOB has taken Gina to court for intentionally sending fradulent DMCA takedown notices to SOB's hosts in an attempt to stifle free speech.
So the next time you think there's drama here over vaginal birth vs. c-section, whether second baby showers are tacky, etc., remember: the courts aren't involved... YET.
Re: Homebirth Drama at the highest level.
