antibiotics, BM, and baby's poop

*Related to my MSPI post below, if you read that.

Anyone who's taken antibiotics while BF'ing notice a change in your LO's poop frequency/color/texture while on the meds? Just wondering if this is possibly the reason for a quick change in DS's poop habit/appearance.

    Yes, antibiotics get into your milk and that has the potential to change your LOs digestive tract, just like it can mess with yours.

    I was on antibiotics for 16 days due to a bad case of mastitis and a breast abscess. My little one went 9 days without pooping. Apparently this can be normal but he seemed uncomfortable and since I stopped the mess he has gone back to a regular schedule.
