So I had an appointment today for my 12 week exam, with a new OB. I did not like my other one at all, and knew that switching earlier would be best.
Well, I found out I have a stage two prolapse of the cervix. Which could lead to a uterine prolapse. Basically, when doing an internal exam, she said she could see my cervix about 3/4 of an inch inside the vaginal opening. TMI, sorry.
Pretty much she said it may not be a problem, may be a big one.
Anyone else ever have this? Or know of someone who has?
She told me for now they would keep an eye on it. I need to not lift anything too heavy, no strenuous exercise, and to watch my weight gain. She wants me to gain no more than 40 pounds. I am up 8 at 12 weeks, and gained almost 50 with Penelope.
She said some of the complications while giving birth could lead this to being my last kid, if all goes really south. This makes me so sad.
Re: New OB, big concerns.
