Not straight!

My LO is almost 5 months old and only now, the fact that my incision isn't straight, is really starting to bother me.  I know no one but my DH will ever see it but it's the fact that its crooked. Is it just me or is it normal to have a not so straight incision?

    I never thought about it, but I guess mine is pretty straight. It would probably bother me too if it was lopsided or not centered. If its only been 5 months, it might still fade quite a bit and maybe you won't notice it so much some day.

    Mine was crooked too, and it bugged me when I'd see it in the mirror.  With my 2nd c-section they cut out the scar tissue from the old scar.  I'm very curious to see if it's still crooked or not.  

    I don't know if it's normal or not, but you're not alone!

    Mine isn't either and totally bugs me! However I recommend mederma. After csection 1 I used it and the scare faded pretty rapidly.

    Mine resembles the Nike swoosh symbol. Not as severe of a curve but its definitely not straight!

    It's pretty normal for it not to be straight. The ob needs to gauge the condition of your uterus, where Lo is in there, and other factors while cutting.

    My first one was crooked. It bothered me a little at first. Now I have two more incisions in addition to that one. They are all separate and crooked in different ways. I also gained a roll that covers them with DS2.  That bothers me and now I could care less about my incision scars.

    Started Dating 03/04/2007 ~ Got Engaged 04/23/2010 ~ Said "I Do" 03/19/2011

    Started TTC #1 11/2011 ~ BFP #1 03/28/2012-EDD 12/02/2012 ~

    Greyson was Born by Unplanned C-Section on 11/20/2012 @ 8lbs 9oz 21 inhces

    Started TTC #2 07/2013 ~ BFP #2 10/11/2013-EDD based on growth is June 26th

    Liam born by Repeat C-Section on June 20, 2014 @ 8lbs 2oz 20.75 inches

    Mine too!  It used to bother me, but know I look at it as a reminder of how "happy" I am LO is here!

    BFP: 10/27/2011 |  EDD: 6/30/12
    DS born 6/28/12 via C/S 3 

    TTC #2: September 2018
    Me: 36 | DH: 39
    Mirena removed 9/13/2018 after 6 years
    BFP 11/11/2018 | MC @ 5.5 weeks on Thanksgiving
    July 2019 - Diagnosed with Secondary Unexplained IF
    August 2019 - 2.5 mg of Letrozole = Never Ovulated so Trigger and IUI were cancelled
    9/30/2019 - IUI #1 (5 mg of Letrozole + Trigger) =  BFP but Betas showed CP @ 4 weeks
    10/28/2019 - IUI #2 (7.5mg of Letrozole + Trigger) = BFN
    11/25/2019 - IUI #3 (7.5mg of Letrozole, Trigger + Crinone after IUI) = BFN
    12/24/2019 - IUI #4 (7.5mg of Letrozole + Crinone after IUI) = BFN
    1/24/2020 - IUI #5 (50mg of Clomid + Trigger + Crinone after IUI) = BFN and an Ovarian Cyst
    3/2/2020 - Taking a break to reset/NTNP
    11/1/2020 - At peace with where things are in life and are no long actively TTC. Whatever happens will happen and it will all be okay. <3

    I never thought of that, but if mine were crooked I'd be hella annoyed! I'm a stickler for symmetry and yeah, it would probably bother me a lot! I think mine is pretty straight, though...

    Mine is darn near diaganol so I told the Dr. I wanted him to go the opposite way for this LO so that for the 3rd pregnancy they'll have an "X" marks the spot LOL  I also said for the 3rd they should go vertical through the X and give me a nice star or asterisk or whatever.   I don't take my body too seriously anymore.  My mom keeps telling me when I'm done having kids I need a tummy tuck so yeah... I'm not rockin the hot bod to begin with Cool

    Mine is VERYcrooked but it was an emergency csection. My dr promises to "make it look pretty" when I have my 2nd csection in a few wks :
