My daughter is 4 weeks old today. I had to cut out all dairy with my 1st DD, so I have been very watchful with this baby. DD#2 has spits up all day, everyday since birth, even in the hospital, just like DD #1. Today she has mucous in her diaper. Stools are still yellow. By the time I figured out I needed to eliminate dairy with DD#1 her poop was green and had specs of blood.
Do you ladies think it's highly likely I've got another milk protein intolerant baby? Fortunately she is a happy spitter, just like DD #1 was, but I know spitting up can't be fun for them! I just want to get a jump on this, it took 5 full weeks to see an improvement with DD#1.
Thanks!
Re: Mucous in stools - 4 week old baby
congrats!
sounds like you do have another milk intolerant baby. You sound like you know what you're talking about and got a head start. Hope she outgrows it soon!
