Mobile Bumpers: My days of Bumping at Work are numbered

My replacement will be starting March 11. Which means that as of March 11, I will have someone shadowing me all day. Boooooo!

Maybe you should give them random busy work. Then they wil leave you alone so you can have proper bumping time.

At first, they wanted her to start Feb 25. I was like "sooooo where is she going to sit for the month and a half before I go on leave". Then it was decided that Feb 25 was too early of a start date for her. And they're also going to look into getting her a computer so she can actually get some work done at some point before I leave. I mean, I assume the first week or so she'll pretty much be sitting in my lap, but after that, I would hope she is able to start working on something on her own (and leave me alone long enough to keep up with you guys!)

LOL, this! This situation does not work for me!

I always hated having someone shadow me at work, there's something exhausting about someone watching what you do all.day.long and having stop to explain the most mundane tasks. Hopefully you'll have a quick learner on your hands and can get her working independently sooner than later!
