Just got back from my u/s and to our big shocking surprise it is twins! There is seriously something going on with this board! We are in complete shock and I'm not even sure what to think at this point...yikes!

Any symptoms of twins along the way?
I don't even have an appt. scheduled, I have to see a nurse educator first they schedule.
I wan an u/s in Feb to check progress but my Dr's office doesn't schedule them usually until 18 weeks.
Holy cow! Congratulations! There is definitely something going on around here. I'm excited to see if we have more "sets" come along the weeks to come.
I'm curious about symptoms, too, though. Did you suspect?
Double congrats! On a side note, this has nothing to do with your newly discovered twin pregnancy.... I read some interesting items in some fertility books. The one author was talking about the widespread use of fertility meds and it affecting wildlife ability to reproduce. They traced the cause to high hormone levels in the water supply. Women didn't need to flush pills down the toilet to cause this, they were leaking out hormonal meds by urinating! I thought it was a really cool bit of info. So there may be something in the water.... but that's the fishes concern! Congrats again!

One is measuring 8 weeks 5 days, and the other 8 weeks 4 days! I haven't had any different weight gain from my first pregnancy. My symptoms have been a little stronger but it may just be because all pregnancies are different!
