Pregnant after a Loss

Hi

I'm cautiously stepping over to this board.  I had a miscarriage at 6.5-7w (never made it to the dating ultrasound) in October, then a chemical pregnancy in December.  I must have ovulated later than usual this cycle, because I didn't get a positive until a few days after AF was expected, and I have since had a few episodes of bright red spotting.  But, I think I am finally past the threat of another chemical pregnancy and it's been over 48 hours since my last spotting episode, so I'm starting to be hopeful.  My first appointment is 2/4, and they will schedule a viability scan (doesn't that sound lovely?) at that appointment.  Now I just have to try to stay calm until then!

  • Welcome and congrats!!

Don't you just love the "viability" word? My Dr. office used that all the time when I first got my BFP.

Welcome where in S. NH are you. I am also in S. NH

I was in Derry when I signed up for TB, but now I live in Lebanon (NH) and can't change it.  I still work in Derry, though, so I am still sort of a southern NHite (NHer?).

They called it a what scan?! Wow! That's really crazy. As if pregAL isn't scary enough. I wish you the best of luck!
