  • Im probably trying to compare apples to oranges here but I wonder why mine is 812 and yours is 260 when your 4 days ahead of me in meds. Could the patch really make that much of a difference? You take the estrace 3x and I take it 2x a day. What does e2 even mean in this situation? I know with IVF its the number of mature follciles.

Im good so far. Sometimes I feel like Im not doing enough since Im used to it being so much more with a fresh cycle. I go back Tues to see the RE to get cleared for a ET on 2/4. This is usualy the point where I get cancelled so Im a little nervous. I would have liked my lining to have been a little better yesterday but atleast its going in the right direction. I will also start PIO on Wednesday. Have you taken PIO before, are you doing it this time? Im just ready to get this show on the road. So I can either get over it or get under it, but I HATE waiting. Patience is not a virtue a possess.

  • i would think the transdermal patch would make the e2 MUCH higher, so i am not surprised.

e2 is estrogen. it is a hormonal proxy for follicles bc follicles produce estrogen while they are maturing. i have heard a level of 200 quoted per mature follicle. so, i guess i have the estrogen level of around one follicle.

since we aren't actually ovulating for fet, i guess the estrogen just tells our lining to keep building like it would in a normal cycle.

i start pio on sunday. not really looking forward to that.

i am ready to get this over with too.
