Me and my husband have a very good sex life before I got pregnant. Now that I'm on bed rest of course we can't.It's very hard for me and him not to have sex. I was wondering if anyone is going through the same problem? I know this should not be a big concern but it is for me.

We haven't had sex this entire pregnancy. I was on pelvic rest until 20 weeks due to bleeding and was placed back on it around 27 weeks. In the time in between, I had so much back and pelvic pain that it just wasn't going to happen. It sucks, but that's just how things turned out. I offered to buy DH a new porno for our anniversary, LOL.

I think this is harder for me than him. With me I am in mama mode and just want to protect my baby. I am not on pelvic rest officially, but I told him he will have to wait a few weeks. He seems to understand. I definitely owe him, lol.

i am on pelvic rest for the since i got my cerclage at 12 weeks until baby comes . it is very difficult, and we have a loooooong way to go.

We haven't had sex since Sept. first I was recovering from surgery, then diagnosed with placenta previa, then bleeding, HBR, then bed rest.
I try to show him physical attention and help him out at least once a week. I also talk to him about how I am looking forward to being intimate when it's safe. We've both been focusing on that

It is becoming more and more frustrating for me and DH, we get into it and then I start cramping up. I'm exhausted after 2 min and we had an OVERLY active sex life before and up to the 3rd tri. Now that I'm huge it's too uncomfortable for both of us. Can't wait for my body to return to me!!

I had a previa and was placed on pelvic rest around 28-29 weeks. It sucked & made me feel AWFUL. But just try to remember it won't be that way forever.

I haven't been able to have sex this entire pregnancy due to pelvic rest. It hasn't been that big of an issue. I just avoid anything having to do with sex--no reading sexy books/watching sex scenes in movies, etc. DH doesn't mention it at all. The less we think about it/talk about it, the easier it is.

We also haven't been able to have sex since I was 6 weeks PG...I'm currently 34 weeks PG. My cerclage will be removed in 3 weeks and we will be cleared to have sex until baby comes but I'm pretty sure it won't be great being 37 weeks PG. We try not to think about it and are counting down the days.

For those who say they owe DH big time...you owe him nothing, your doing what a Dr tells you to protect your baby. I think it is harder for us b/c at least DH can take care of himself where we have to be sexually frustrated the whole time
