I posted a while back about my LO needing a helmet. We got it this morning! She has been doing great so far today with the on 1 off 1 schedule. By day 5 she will be at on 23 off 1 and will stay on that for 4-5 months, possibly longer.

LOVE IT- We got our helmet last week and I ordered my decals! Cannot wait for them to get here! She is ADORABLE.
I'm sure you probably know this- but we did Tylenol and Motrin just so that if he was sore or anything it would help with the pain and discomfort. Kinda of like if you get braces on your teeth?
And DS also got pretty hot due to increase in body temp.
Good luck!

Adorable, love the bling! I don't know what it is, but kids in helmets look so cute. DD wore a helmet for about 3 months. I remember the hardest part for me was not being able to kiss her little head because there was this big plastic helmet in the way but that was for completely selfish reasons She didn't mind it one bit. It worked wonders for DD's head shape and I'm 100% happy we did it. Good luck!

My DS wore a helmet (DOC Band, so a bit smaller) for 4 months. I also missed snuggling against his head but am so grateful that such an orthotic exists because my son's head shape is nearly perfect now. I am also 100% happy we did it, even paying completely out of pocket.

(and baby!)
Hope she doesn't have any trouble with it and you guys get great results!
I had the same reaction so I agree with this!
