Anyone have a rock hard belly that lasts hours? No cramps, I can still feel the baby roll around and jab. I am a tad constipated but other than that. Is this normal? I have a Dr. appt tomorrow but just curious.
I get this all the time, so much that I forget it happens. Last night when I got home and gave my hubby a kiss hello he stepped back with eyes bigger than I have ever seen on him and said "What's wrong, are you okay, why is your tummy so hard". (all three questions in about a half a second)
I kinda chuckled and felt my stomach and said....oh it is AGAIN! It actually stayed that way until I went to bed and she finally re-adjusted herself and I had a little more room.

I've been this way since after lunch today. It's even hard to bent over. Thought it was b/c I was full but hours later still the same. I guess it's normal.
I ended up calling my doctor and he thinks my stomach muscles might be strained from coughing. I have a terrible cold that hurts when I cough. He said as long as I can feel the baby move, my water hasn't broken and no bleeding I should be ok but if I was still worried I could go into the hospital. I can feel the little one move so I won't go in.
Re: Rock hard belly
Probably baby's position? If they roll forward, up or out, the part of the uterus you can feel will be more stretched out and feel harder than usual.
