Back from ER...long and rough day

First off, thanks to all of you with the advice as to whether or not to call in sick tomorrow.  It really prepared for me today pain wise etc and I was glad I didn't go to the ER with blinders on.

Things went pretty smoothly until I had to get up to pee after the ER.  I wanted to prove that I was ok to go home.  My blood pressure had been running low but it had been a good hour or two without going to the bathroom.  So they pushed me in there in a wheelchair and I asked dh to stay because I was feeling really lightheaded.  Thank god I did...things started to get blurry, I passed out and woke up to a bunch of hands lowering me to the ground.  I was like 'what the heck are you y'all doing to me'?  My blood pressure was in the 70's/30's.  Dang it, I never did get to pee at that time...at least I didn't go on the way to the ground :)  Ah, but the floor was nice and cold, I would have been fine if they had left me there.

So they wheeled me back to the room, had me lie down flat and gave me another bolus of fluids.  I was dying of thirst and drank quite a bit of water and tried to snack on some food but nothing looked good.  Long story short, I ended up feeling really nauseous, pointed dh to a basin in the corner, he got it to me just in time as all of the fluids came back up.  This led to another IV bolus.

Poor dh, his nerves are probably fried.  It really freaked him out when I passed out.  I was able to laugh during pretty much all of this even though it hurt...what else could I do?  Big Smile It was just crazy all that had happened.  I'm tucked into bed right now with my heating pad and even though my stomach feels like it's going to explode, I'm feeling pretty good compared to earlier.  Again, thanks for the support!!!    Oh, and they got 13 eggs!
