So, a couple weeks ago I posted about the Birth Center in Wilmington...well it turns out that I am considered high risk and am not a good candidate My RE suggested Clare, a midwife at All about Women or Michelle, a midwife at Maternity and Gynecology Associates of Delaware. I really wanted to use the Birth Center so we thought this would be the next best thing...hospital birth with a midwife.
Does anyone have any experience with these midwives...are the practices conducive to having a med free birth?
Thanks in advance
Re: Midwife recommendation...
I go to Maternity and Gynocoloy assoc. and I never saw Michelle during my pregnancy, but I met her while I was in the hospital after I had E, and she was really nice.
I am not sure how they feel about med-free births though.
I just gave birth last week and Clare from AAW delivered my baby. I didn't have a med-free birth but that was never my plan in the first place. I can tell you though that she is amazing and very responsive to what I wanted and needed. I would highly recommend her!
Good luck
