The 175 (!) 'oddest' names of 2012 (the Netherlands)

Hi everyone,

I'm a longtime lurker on this board and decided to create an account to be able to share this article with you:

The writer has selected the 175 'oddest/weirdest/strangest' names given to babies in the Netherlands in 2012 (why 175 is a mystery to me). Some names are just weird in Dutch (i.e. Blaas means either bladder or blow), but there are some wonderfully tragic misspellings on the list as well: Chastitty, the poor girl.

LOL! That's exactly what I was thinking. The other name that really caught my eye was Splynter o_O

The rat from Ninja Turtles, or that sliver of wood you have to tweeze out of your finger. That's some deep shiit.
